Everything works as it should. Sunroof, Pixels, Seats, Heat, AC, Intensive headlight washers, etc. EVERYTHING. No funny lights, no pending codes. All trunk tools in place. (I have to tow hook as well, it was out for the photo because I was using it for something.) I've been an E39 owner and enthusiast for 20 years having owned a 1997 528iA & 2002 530iA prior to this one, and I also own a 1999 528iT (Wife's Daily).

I purchased this car because I had an itch for a manual weekend warm-weather car. It has been a blast to drive, but I really wanted the M5 ultimately for the extra power. This 530i would be perfect as a daily driver or a first car for a college kid who is a manual enthusiast. It has always been adult owned and shows no signs of teenage or early 20's abuse. All original interior and engine compartment. My goal was always to keep it as OEM and classy as possible. It has always been garage kept under my ownership and I've only put about 2500K miles on it in the last couple of years.

I hadn't gotten around to actually documenting the car and listing it, so it hasn't had a proper detail and sale photo shoot, but I've taken lots of photos throughout my ownership and curated a Google Photos album for you to get an idea. It's in reverse chronological order, so everything at the top is most recent. As soon as I can break away from my wife and kids who I'm stuck at home with, I'm going to give it a good wash in/out and take better photos.

MODIFICATIONS:
-GROM Bluetooth Unit - (Replaces OEM CD Changer in trunk. Will include CD Changer with sale, as well as the mic for GROM unit which I didn't get around to installing yet. You can still play music from your phone, just can't take calls yet.)
-OEM High-Gloss Shadowline Window Trim - to replace worn chrome trim
-BC Coilovers - The previous owner replaced the OEM springs and shocks with the BC coilovers. I enjoyed them on a couple spirited drives when I first bought the car, but have since dialed them back to a full-soft setting. Easily adjustable. The ride height is pretty close to OEM Sports suspension but it can go much lower from what I understand. The coilover adjustment tools will be in the tool compartment.
-New Sports Steering Wheel - Replaced worn steering wheel with a professionally re-wrapped unit.
-OEM All-weather floor mats - Rare Alternate styling
-OEM ZHP Shift knob - adds weight and reduction in overall height. Will include original wood trim knob with sale.
-I will also include a brand new, never installed Cosmo Cold Air Intake. Exactly like the Dinan version, without the Dinan price tag. I was going to put it in for some extra sound but never got around to it. I found that the engine was too quiet to hear revs properly with music at moderate volumes and the windows closed. Use it or sell it. I have no use for it anymore.
-I added a full-size spare wheel/tire (Style 19 wheel) since the car didn't have a spare when I bought it.

I have no records from previous owners, but the cooling system has recently dated components, so I believe the previous owner did a complete refresh. The clutch grabs well and there is no slippage.

IMPERFECTIONS:
-Small paint imperfections associated with age and mileage, typical nicks and chips from highway driving, nothing that stands out.
-tiny bit of rust in a couple spots, nothing alarming.
-The Carfax shows an accident reported on 07/01/2010 under the 3rd owner, but it doesn't describe any other details. I've struggled to find any evidence of where this might have occurred.
-The Style 42 wheels could use a refinish on the barrels (typical oxidation/clear-coat peeling) but the faces are in great shape.
