Hello All!
I just purchased my 1983 320i E21 1.8, 5 spd, 3.91 LSD with 132,XXX miles from a friend who had way too many BMW's! He gave me a great deal with tons of extra parts. I plan on making it a track car and having fun with family. I am no stranger to cars and track racing, high performance. BMW's are new to me though and will have a steep learning curve. I will be asking alot of questions and asking for help and ideas as the project moves along. Great to see all the active people on this site! I will also be selling all the interior parts including recaro seats to help fund some improvements and roll cage.

welcome to the madness, should be a fun project!
crazy how much those recaros go for, even torn up.
Welcome! Looks like you have a great starting point, is the drivers floor pan the worst of the rust?
Welcome to the group.
Track car?
That is a dark hole to go down . . . . . . .

The drivers side is bad...the passenger side is close to being just as bad. Do you have a good US source for floor pans??

YES...it can be a dark hole. I was tracking my CSX Shelby Cobra! $100 bills fly out of your bank account for a bolt!
This 320 HAS to be less expensive. A few friends of mine have crashed their Mustangs lately and the costs we $2X,XXX to repair!
Wallothnesch sells them, no not a US source but still a good one and they ship fast. I have a set but I don't think I want to part ways with it yet, I still have some rust issues on mine.
