Who in their right mind would perform such a swap?
    pictures of the installation ?

    WHY?
Less displacement and horsepower comes at MUCH higher cost. Not to mention the diminished value of a collectible car.
To each his own but I don't get it.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure its fun and all and it must be satisfying to have engineered the conversion but your choice of engines just baffles me.

I think he/she is trolling you. Appears that he/she owns two, the other is getting a Mercedes M120 v12 awd w/ a boxter trans.

Why the swap? Why in the name of the holiest of holiest, why the swap? A Beamer's engine is like it's heart (Along with the supension, etc) but like . . . why?

I also say why the swap? Panteras are ugly, I’d rather have an old bmw
