I looked at the CES link you provided. For your ZF320, you want the E36 flywheel and clutch. It does not matter whether the ZF320 came from an E36 or E46 or E39. They are all the same. The distinction CES is making is between ZF320 used in E36 (or E46 or E39) and the Getrag 420G used in E46M3s that some swap into their turbo E36 for more holding power (a few of us have broken ZF320s so we use other transmissions). An E46M3 uses a Getrag 420G that has a different number of splines on the input. Maybe it is more expensive to buy or machine the clutch disk centers for that spline count or maybe the flywheel is a little different and that explains the $200 difference.

I think rajicase is selling a used comp twin for the ZF320. Not sure which disk set he has or whether it is the disk set you want for your purposes. Or what new disks cost.

    oh i see.
the 420g cost too much when they do go up for sale so i got a zf for now $300 to get the swap going.

na i pmed rajicase. SOLD... to someone else oh well it was a sweet ass deal.

It should be fine for at least a while. I used a ZF320 for 9 years with a turbo. Broke 2 of them along the way. Breakage depends on the power and the traction. I broke stock driveshafts before I broke transmissions.
