Wondering what the procedure is regarding changing the o-rings and shaft seals on this differential... Other than setting the input flange pinion bolt torque to 137ft lb and preload checked for the required 15 inch pounds, Will I also need to have the backlash checked if I start pulling the ring gear assembly out to change clutch packs?
I am currently in the process of doing a differential swap into my 540i
