    E36 OBD2 tunes

    Hey guys

I have been away from BMWs for a while.. In the last few days I have been searching for a tune for my e36 m3 and cant seem to find anything specific. Maybe I just suck at searching

Who makes tunes that can still be flashed?

    list of mods
    803 3.5" maf
    m50 manifold
    24lb injectors
    raceland headers

I have not removed cats but that is next to go. No plans to do cams.

From what it looks like shark injector is best bet, but turner only has tunes listed with cams.

    Appreciate you in advance

I do not quite understand the mods you have accomplished IF you are not going to add cams, the M50 manifold is the exception.

Try Kassel, Markert, 22RPD. I’d tell them what engine you have in addition to the mods. And buy a set of S52 or Schrick or reground cams so you can take better advantage of your mods.

    To clarify it’s an e36 m3, I just realized I didn’t specify that

At least you have the best of the factory cams for these motors. I’d probably skip the old Turner tune and buy one from Kassel or Markert or 22RPD since they are still developing and fine tuning whereas Turner forgot about the E36 a decade ago.

A 3.38 diff swap from an auto M3 helps multiply torque a little more.

Agreed, I'd go for Kassel or 22RPD or TRM. Recently I opted TRM's OBD1 S52 tune since I needed such as basic off the shelf tune.

nobody mentioned RKtunes...which you can flash at home...22rpd is the same way...they send you a cable and install the tune yourself...in addition you get re-flashes and any combination you would like...plus remote tuning if need be...i think either are great and should be able to accommodate you...plus they are only $350...i also have a e36 m3 btw...

Jordan is still a one man show as far as I understand. I don’t know if his turn around times have gotten better. He does make good power
