Fuel line choices. There are a couple other threads but I couldn't find current threads so here are my choices. (see pic).
    1. Current BMW 8×13
    2. Dayco trans cooler hose. 5/16
    3. 350psi WEATHERHEAD 5/16
    4. Put back older blue label BMW 8x13
    5. Stainless Steel braided 5/16

Before fuel pressure regulator going with stainless steel braided. After regulator going with current BMW 8x13 fuel line.

    1. Current BMW 8×13 <STOCK, ok choice.
    2. Dayco trans cooler hose. 5/16 < NO. Just NO
    3. 350psi WEATHERHEAD 5/16 <Again, NO. Why are you so partial to "hydraulic" hose?
    4. Put back older blue label BMW 8x13 <no idea what this is, but from your previous options I'd say no.
    5. Stainless Steel braided 5/16 < seems cool... but really isn't. Unless you are fitting actual AN bungs and fittings on the pipes, these hoses are not the best thing to use with hose clamps.

    6. Gates Barricade Fuel Injection hose < YES. Definitely yes.

Ok did that after fuel pressure regulator.
    2. Dayco trans cooler hose. 5/16 < NO. Just NO
Are todays mixed fuels, gasoline + ethanol + additives going to break down the internal liner of the trans-cooler hose ?
    3. 350psi WEATHERHEAD 5/16 <Again, NO. Why are you so partial to "hydraulic" hose? Because I have it. Its I.D. is close enough. It can handle the pressure and it won't break down internally with fuel in it. Right ?
    4. Put back older blue label BMW 8x13 <no idea what this is, but from your previous options I'd say no. Its what was replaced in the years 2000s .
    5. Stainless Steel braided 5/16 < seems cool... but really isn't. Unless you are fitting actual AN bungs and fittings on the pipes, these hoses are not the best thing to use with hose clamps. Don't have aluminum ends and can't get them. You are talking about the red and blue anodized parts.

    6. Gates Barricade Fuel Injection hose < YES. Definitely yes.. Ahh . Would be nice but cash only and can't get that hose type. Wasn't one of the options.

Splain it this way. On one of the Apollo missions things went sideways. The engineers knew what was in the capsule and from those items they came up with a solution.

I use the Continental Fuel Hose/Line; 8mm ID X 13mm OD High Pressure hose, and have never had a failure with this product. In the past, I have tried other fuel hoses, only to have them leak on BMW's. Be sure to use good quality fuel hose clamps with rounded edges to protect the hoses from damage.

It is easily sourced by the meter: https://www.autohausaz.com/pn/13537788347

No affiliation with Autohausaz.com, its just one of vendors that I use - hope this helps.

I *might* have a pump for you from an 840. I sold the tank itself, but not sure if I let the pump go too. Will ask my shop assistant, she is the parts librarian. IF I still have it, it's yours. Will know more soon, after my triple root canal in 40 minutes.

20200327_150531.jpg Thank you for the offer. I am going with a dual pump solution. (see pic).
Sorry to hear about your dental problems. Did you grow up in Europe ? [ no florinated water ] or did you just inherit bad teeth from your relatives ?

Ok so finally got CD05001 running. The majority of the problems were caused by varnishing/clogging from residual gas in gas tank. Car sat for 5 years.
So car ran for a day and a half then...
