Yepper, but did you read up? They are only covering things purchased as of June, or July of this year? Ballsy move would have been to just cover everything purchased by all us nutjobs from way back when….

My thoughts exactly, but ECS has always been my fallback parts site when FCP dropped the ball on stock that I needed.

It's very rare that I have order issues with fcp, it's maybe happened once with the 7k + I've spent there and they always make it right immediately. ECS customer service, not so much.

Worked on a 2009 328 E93 yesterday at work, N52? N53? One of those fookin engines. Out of practice, I’m usually out in the front office selling service work and tires these days, but due to a death in one of our mechanics families, I thought I’d pick up the slack, and knock out the starter job on one of my customers cars, was kinda nice to get dirty for a change at work. Been a while since I’ve done a starter on an i6, from what I remember, it is a bit easier on these newer i6’s than on the M52, M54 cars. I had to knock it out because the other mechanics seem to be scared of working on our BMW’s. These guys are used to working on all the typical junk commonly seen on our roads and highways. Josh, the tech who had a death in the family is my go to guy when I line up European work. The one thing that kept holding me up, customers calling up and asking to speak to me. I finally had to tell the office to deal with callers, and just tell them I wasn’t in the office. Once I finished up on that car, I had to knock out a late model 228’s rear brakes, not too bad, only pain in the ass part was having to hook up the SnapOn scanner to unwind the stupid electronic parking brakes. But I was sort of impressed, the interior on that 228 and all the features, not bad for a late model POS low level BMW with the sport option.

Man! I forgot about this thread! These damn Black Friday, Cyber Monday deals have loaded up my cards. First it was some more speakers, another Alpine head unit, a couple of Pioneer dash cams, more riding boots, a couple of sets of Apex Arc 8’s, one set in anthracite, one in bronze. The anthracite set is gong on my grey Cooper S, same fittings as on an early E30. The bronze set is for the E92 335 coupe. New shoes! Apex has a decent sale going on until the 30th.
