Bilstein b6 rear shock fully inserted but doesn't look like it

The shocks have been replaced with a set of bilstein b6 shocks. The right rear lower mount was inserted into the trailing arm but it leaves a few mm exposed like it isnt fully inserted. I tried again and again but it doesnt go in any further. I decided to tighten everything down and even after torquing it in, the lower mount is still slightly exposed. The left side fully inserted no problem.

Ill add picture of it. Does this look like it will be an issue if I leave it as is?

Damn this forum continues to let me down. Whatever, I consulted a professional. I'm done with this joke of an information source.

e28 activity on this forum isn't as frequent as a couple others out there that are bit more focused on that chassis.
