Ctek charger

Hi I’ve got a 1995 e38 & was wondering is it best to hook up a ctek battery charger to the battery in the boot or the terminals under bonnet..? As I want to leave it on constant trickle charge while my car is parked up sometimes for quite sometime Would be grateful of any advice thank you.

I leave mine on the battery.

I've always used the designated positive and negative terminals in the engine bay which was designed for this purpose...plus you don't have to crush the power cord to prevent the P bus from staying on until the consumer cut-off kicks in 16 minutes later.

{not a CTECK...just a simple $3.99 float charger from Harbor Freight...but worked flawlessly for years using the engine bay jump start terminals}
