On this 2007 760Li is a rear fridge unit and appears to have the rear AC unit which sit above the parking brake module - which needs the gear fix.
So - do you need to remove the fridge unit and the rear ac unit to get access to the module? In taking a look at it simply doesnt seem like there is enough room to swing the module out like I've seen in some of the repair how-to's.
I went as far as to find the 3 bolts for the fridge module inside the car and the two lower bolts in the trunk that hold down the AC but it seems like its still hung up on something that simply wont let you pull the whole assembly out.
How are the folks with the 760Li's with fridge and rear AC unit getting around this issue?
In any case - i think id still like to remove the unit but want to know if im just opening up more of a can of worms if that whole ac unit has some sort of hoses connected to it that are under high pressure. - It wasnt clearly visible.
(Why I'm doing this is that when i went to go clean up everything including under the rear seats it was a filthy mess so i figured while doing the parking brake module - which i couldnt easily access, might as well clean the rest up).
