Well, other than the horrible advice to use E39 Style 5 wheels.....
Think the one second from the right in his last photo is mine from a past Sharkfest based on the missing fogs (now brake ducts) but hard to tell them all apart......

Nice!
I'm not sure the source of his numbers (I've always thought it was 1,787 US-spec M6's for example), but overall it's a very Rob article (i.e. the kind I enjoy reading)
I have owned my 84 633CSi for 15 years. I liked the article by Rob but also disagree with his choice of wheels. I had a set of style 66's from an E 39 540i Sport. I loved the look but they completely changed the handling of the car even with the hub centric rings. I decided to go back to a more traditional wheel and tires. I purchased a set of square 16" BBS RS three piece rims. I had them completely disassembled and rebuilt and restored and the difference in the drivability of my car was immediately noticeable. I have owned 6 E28 5 series 533i, 535i, and 4 535is. Loved them all great cars maybe the best but every time I look at my "Shark" I smile. When others ask me what the car is like to drive I tell them the car seems to get lower to the ground the fast you drive and it handles the same at 30MPH as it does at 120MPH.

Pretty good article but I think his pricing is a couple years out of date. Pristine low mileage M6s rarely sell in the forties anymore and people frequently ask close to double that although 50 to 60 is more common selling price.
That and his idea of dumping the TRXs. I love mine!
