Looking to buy schrick camshafts for M70

Hello, does anyone have a set of schrick M70 cams that you decided not to use or maybe a used set?
    Cheers!

have you contacted Schrick to see if there is any chance they might make a small patch of cams?

Perhaps your stock cams could be re-ground to Schrick dimensions? That works on M30 engines, as per E34, so why not here? Not particularly expensive, either, as I recall...

I think that's what Wolf does over in Germany for his hybrid m70/73 motors. You might reach out to him - I've found him to be very responsive when I contacted with a couple of questions about my own build.

Well, not quite. Don't you have to add material onto the lobes?
My friend had this exact thing done and for what ever reason it caused rough idle, installed genuine Schrick cams and idle smoothed right out!

Wolf doesn't make the cams, Schrick stopped production

I had Isky re-grind a cam for one of my old BMW's and it didn't last long before lobes were worn out because they could not treat the surface after grinding with the gas-nitride process like BMW does to harden surface. I have a Schrick cam in my old 530 and its held up just fine for many years and miles.
