BAVTOYS Hid kit in bosch lights

I’m having issues with my kit purchased from bavtoys. Car is a 97 e36.

The lights work intermittently, sometimes one light turns on, sometimes two. It also alternates between the two lights. I have a 55w HID kit. I opened up the lights and there is arcing going on between the light and housing. Has anyone else had this issue? The sales rep is trying to push the blame on installation and won’t claim the warranty- might as well try to fix these things since I’m stuck with them

The lights turn on fine outside of the housing, but fail inside the housing intermittently.
