I own a 1990 e32 750iL and the Roundels are all yellow from sun exposure over time. 15” OEM.
I’m not entirely sure of what the actual name of the piece is. I think eBay has it as a ‘Silver Cross Spoke Rim Center Cap/Lug Nut Cover’.
Has anyone ever changed these out? Is the color going to be off replacing the center and sticking it on an old withered down faded chrome wheel?
Moved from 7 General forum to E32 forum. Please always post in E32 forum. Which wheels exactly do you have? Here is the ETK with a 1990 750iL, under wheels we have these http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E3...browse/wheels/
in case they are for example rim styl. 2, 3 , 4, 5, 7,10, etc., then you can buy BMW insignia stamped with adhesive film 36136758569 D=70MM.
You can replace them, no problem, they are just glued on. On ebay you can also buy them, just find them with D=70mm, maybe they will not last that long, but they are cheap.

Yes this is it. Do I just pop it out? Ever done it before?
Thank you so much for the reply and time. Sorry about putting this in the wrong thread...am still new here.

it sometimes requires a bit of force to get off, use a flat screwdriver and lift it, it is just held by some adhesive film
