Fog lamp removal

The bulb in my passenger side fog lamp needs to be replaced so the light needs to be removed. I remember doing it before by putting a screwdriver into the top hole which pushes out and releases the lamp/light. I think that mechanism has broken.

Is there another way to get the light out?

You can access fog light bulb by removing front fender liner.

Or take the bumper cover off. Cleaning opportunity.

Get in there with a flashlight. Typically, if that lever is broken, then the fog light has trouble even locking into place. So, if the tab itself is broken, just look to see ifyou can get something on it at all.

If not, jack up the front, turn the wheel, get it at from behind fender liner.
