2013 BMW E70 N55 Low Oil presssure Warning.

Had the limp home mode once in the driveway and installed a new BMW Dealer supplied sensor. Was checking out the oil pressure and it is around 35 psi when warm at idle and varies through the rev range. Everything appears to be within specs but it popped a new low oil pressure warning as I was watching the pressure. It cleared and did not come back, YET. I really cannot see why the light should have come on?

Ther are so many electronic systems in the car who knows, you did the right diagnostic all you can do is monitor it, the light is probably set to come on around 7psi?

According to the TIS (if memory serves) the DME trips the light around 25psi. I have had it out with my co-pilot monitoring the pressure readings and they run from around 39psi to 70psi in normal driving. 60mph uphill yielded the higher reading while a 80mph run on the flat saw around 45psi.
The funny thing I find is that it reads 14.2psi before startup. I cannot imagine why except it is just an anomaly.
