Oil out the exhaust could this be FI related.

hey guys i'm at a cross point right now
trying to figure this out. Seeing if i should move forward.

i refreshed my engine and got the head rebuilt w/ new viton seals.
they said the guides where good so they didn't touch that.

a week later it started to smoke out the exhaust at start up.
then it stopped after i tried to blow it, reving out and stuff.

a year later it started to smoke again on the way back from work
#2 spark plug was always black with oil.

here it is all intake ports and manifold runners caked. exhaust ports where clean.
    pistons tops also have carbon.

dry compression with the engine out the car for over a week they where about the same
all across. A shot of ATF bumped it up about 30psi across.

any of u experienced this because of FI?

no oil in boost pipes this is coming from the engine.

What is "refreshed"? What exactly did you touch/replace?

Hard to believe "no" oil whatsoever in boost pipes as there is usually some that makes it in there from CCV tube. Do you have a CCV fed back into turbo inlet? Air/Oil separator?

    Age of turbo?

All ports being of identical condition tells me it is not some unique bottom end damage to a single piston/rings, but oil intrusion into intake manifold from some vac source. #2 spark plug seems like it's seeing the worse oil so check intake plenum vac hoses above #2 cylinder. Some oil is common, but that looks excessive.

Is the smoking coincidental to high boost pulls? If so then you just need better crank ventilation (pressurizing it with blowby, pushing oil).

sry, i've honed it using the 3 stones.
    new bearings and rings.

    ccv is to atmo

it did it with the old holset but did it after with a new borg.
pictures of pipes and also intercooler is clean. Not coming from turbo.

everything past the throttle plate is oily though.

probably not a boost related problem
and they did a shty job rebuilding the head. fk.
no pistons cracked just some scratches from putting the rings on.

also it doesn't happen with boost or at least it seem it did it out of the blue both times.
#1 time just idling on driveway #2 driving back from work in traffic.
