2008 335i 78k miles. Has anyone tried this? My leak isn't real bad yet - a little over 1/2 qt in 5k miles.
I would put up with the loss of oil until you find the time and/or money to do the right thing, assuming you intend to keep this car.

I sent the question to Lucas and they said to only use their Engine Oil Stop Leak Top Off Additive not the stop leak product.
Of course they are going to tell you to use their product. They are a business, selling a product for a profit. Do what you want, but I would never put anything other than oil into my engine.

Totally agree. Why risk causing more serious issues ? The oil pan gasket is a well known replacement item along with the valve cover and oil filter housing gaskets. These all eventually fail.

You have turbo(s). Consider how they are lubricated...
