Talking about CD00001 on another forum but seeing that production started with CD00000 I did some searching. Some said 00000 didn't exist but the numbers didn't add up, and I found another 000 car, WBAEG4321SCD05000 an 850CI. CD00000 to CD00230 would equal 231 cars. Found that CD00004, CD00005, CD00006, CD00007, CD00008 and CD00009 weren't produced so that's 231 minus 6 equals 225 cars produced.
Well, I found using wildcards this vin: WBSEG9325RCD00000, and ran some vin checks.

The info in the link you posted makes me think it was a pre production press car "fotofahrzeug". The ENTWICKLUNGSFZG OHNE KONSERVIE part makes me think it may have been crushed?
