What is the color of my style 18 wheels?

I recently purchased a ‘98 Z3 w/2.8. It came with 4 Style 18 wheels all the same 17”x7.5” width. Their color is best described as a dark silver. I have just purchased 2 8.5” width rims for the rear and the color is a bright silver. I would like to paint them the darker color as I think that color works with the Montreal Blue of the car. Is the original color dark or light silver.

My 97 Montreal Blue 2.8 had Style 18’s and they were a bright silver. I think the official name is Hyper Silver. There was an option to have the Style 18’s painted body color.
