I drive an automatic 325i, its RWD but I have an open differential. I'm wondering if I just look dumb attempting donuts and such lol, since my car doesn't allow me to do complete/full drifts. I'm eventually switching to lsd.. but in the meantime would you laugh if you saw someone drifting in an automatic with an open diff? haha

Shogun tricks and tips for the E32 series are HERE!
Automatic and open diff is inherently a losing game. We have 1 member who can make it work but he's a genius. You need manual and a locking diff of some kind.
Status: Someone put glitter in my oil. Wait. Why's all my oil outside the engine? What's that knocking?
There are a few guys that make it work around here, but a LSD/Welded diff is a must, manual or auto because otherwise you just end up turning with one wheel spinning. I wouldn't let the transmission keep you from learning how to drift.
