The floor mat velcro circles on the drivers side won't stay attached to the rug anymore. I'm thinking of drilling a small hole through them into the floor and using a plastic or sheet metal screw. It wouldn't have to go very far through the floor board. Do anyone know if there is anything directly under & close to the two velcro locations?
Replace the velcro??

The problem is that the hole in the flooring is enlarged and the disc won't hold anymore. So I moved the discs over a ways and created new holes. Hopefully that will solve the problem for now. The people at the car wash yank the mats out so roughly that eventually the floor mat can't take it any more.
I'd seriously avoid drilling through your floor and putting screws. Not saying more there.
You can buy velcro tape. Put some on the mat and floor and stick together.
Or, as apposed to screws, use double sided tape. That would be my semi permanent (but easily replaceable) route.
I tried tape before - not as strong as the velcro tabs. At this point, creating new holes seems to be working.
