    Fault Code Knowledge Wanted

Looking to purchase a 2014 X3 Xdrive 35i. Had a mechanic do a 3 hour inspection on the vehicle.
He came back with 5 codes. Can anybody tell me what these are and what the problem could be. Can anybody tell me if any of the codes would be enough of an issue to not purchase the vehicle.

Fault codes all listed as Intermittent

180001 Catalytic converter: efficiency below limit value

4809AB Dynamic Stability Control (DSC): Undervoltage in vehicle

    9308B0 Identification transmitter: Undervoltage, battery

801A4C SINE: Undervoltage Detected in internal voltage supply

B7F323 Telematics communication box (TCB): Airbag alive signal defective

    Thanks in advance.

Under voltage most likely battery is old, the cat below efficinency points to a bad cat

I agree with a old battery. I doubt the cat is bad and more likely the o2 sensor is not accurate. I believe cats are warrantied for 8 years.

Agreed and most of the time you can just clean the post cat O2 sensors and pop them back in.

I'm firm on the battery being old. Bring a known good battery with you and swap it out and test again. If battery is more then 3 years old it's always suspect.
