850I Windows will not operate,Trunk light and interior lights won't come on

Hello Guys, I sure hope someone can help me. My 850I has some issues, All the windows are inoperable they want go up or down. The trunk lights will not come on and the inside interior lights will not come on. Since there is so much going on there must be a common cause because it all started at the same time. I have brand new batteries put in the car. Any help is appreciated

    Module

On a LHD Car, put the back of you head on the brake pedal and look up and to the right. Its right in front of the knee bolster. Mine has a panel they you have to take out along with the heating ductwork. Two easy nuts and one really difficult if it has not come out before. I never replaced the hard one. The whole rack drops down and will hang on the wires.

Its the Middle Module if I remember correctly

Before you go pulling out modules; check all relays first!

Thanks Timm, I think all the Relays in question are the ones in the trunk that are for the windows ,door locks, interior lights and trunk lights

Yes, the Consumer Cut-Off relays would be top of the list, and the two green ones can be swapped over.

Timm I purchased new ones because it is a 91 and I believe these are the originals still in it but it did not fix my problem. So I am guessing that it is probably the GM

Everyone, my GM did have a cap that was blown. It was the biggest one in it So I hope this is the one that was causing all my problems. Now to send it to Scott to get me rightIMG_0654.jpg
