92 db sound restriction

I have a E36 track only 328i,

it came with two exhaust lines, one with a stock muffler which sounds like nothing.
and one with two straight 2.25" pipes which will not pass the 92 db sound restriction of my local track.

I was thinking of installing a pair of cherry bomb style glasspack mufflers at the end of my straight pipe lines.

Does anyone has expirence with that.......will it be under 92 db mesured from 50ft?

At Laguna Seca, I have a 90 degree extender pointed (left) away from the sound meter (right side of track). Do you know the exact sound metering location/s at that track?

They take mesurements in the padock where they stand about 50 ft behind the car and you rev the engin up to a specific RPM (6000 i think)
