    Analog Dash Wiring

I see the analog dash/console clock has a 3 pin connector on the back numbered 1 2 3.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for what each wire is?

    Thanks
I own mostly junk. Except the Porsche, that's kind of cool.

I'm looking for a clock to use as an Arduino project and this seems decent
How is the time set ?
It seems relatively easy as far as wiring. One hot and ground and one for lights.

    It seems you don't have a Z3.

I don't have an analog clock and have never seen an actual one. I guess your question is about whether the time is set mechanically by turning knobs or electrically by pushing buttons. Googling shows it has buttons:
    https://prussianmotors.com/bmw-z3-ro...-2002-used-oe/
The Owners Manual says the buttons are pushed:
"You can correct the time by pressing
the buttons (arrows) with a sharp object
    such as a ball-point pen.
Set the clock forward by pressing the
right button; set the clock back by
    pressing the left button."

On my 98 it adjusts from the center by rotating the knob.

Also totally different from the later M clocks, which don't have the knob. They have a small button at the very bottom that steps the minute hand on minute at a time, or rapidly step it if you hold it in. A real pain when you have to advance it 11 hours in the fall!

Makes me wonder how many seasons I've left it alone, subtracting the hour in my head...
