[QUOTE=E36 HateR;30417856]Did this conversion on my engine today, took my time, the trick was stacking enough shims to get an accurate measurement the first time, perrys lifter magnets work great for this too.

Hopefully this fixes my issue ive been having with my engines murdering valves.

Do you have a write up on this conversion set up?

This will work in any M50, M52, or M54 head. My car has an M50 non vanos head with vanos added and M52 lifters with this conversion. Yes I have been running this in my car and there are three other people also currently testing. It has been working good.

M50 pump with an Achilles pump shaft. I also have the oil squirters plugged

I had a set of cat hydraulic profile cams that I wasn't really impressed with but I have a set of solid lifter grinds from Enem going in. To put vanos on a non vanos head you just have to grind some material on the front of the head to allow the vanos unit to slide on.
