Yesterday, I swapped out the wheels I had on my 2003 Bmw 325xi (93k miles). Drove it around afterwards, everything was working perfectly. This morning, when I started it, the ABS, traction control, and brake light all came on. Drove the car a little ways, everything still seemed to be running smoothly. Could something about changed the wheels have caused these lights to come on? Or did a speed sensor go bad just at the perfect time?
1) Are all of the new wheels the same size? There is a tolerance for difference sized wheels front/back but if the difference is too big it will bring up the lights.
2) Read the error codes in the ABS module with a BMW specific scanner. That way you'll know what the cause is and avoid wasting parts.

There is only one thing more pleasurable than working on a Z3, that's driving it top down on a fine day.
All 4 wheels are the same, however the tires are bigger than the ones previously on it. So the tires being too big can cause the lights to come on? Also, is there a way to get the sensors to turn off still using the tires? Or would I have to find some that are the same size?
Sorry it took so long to respond. The lights actually turned off for about a week, and then just barely came back on. The tire sizes are 225/50r17. All the pressures in the tires are relatively close to the same psi. Ranging between 36 and 39 psi
