    Order what you can from FCP Euro. If it brakes during installation they offer life time replacement.
    But it's a 90s M3......
    This is the way!

    Do the HG (or pay a pro, you've been super disciplined and nobody would criticize $2500 spend) and get back to 10 days ago. Definitely the highest ROI vs. all other options you outlined.

    For me the reward is driving pleasure. If I have a tight budget then maybe I can’t mod much to increase my driving pleasure. If I have more money, I mod more. I always consider money spent on modding your be money I will never see again. No return on investment. Bang for the buck, sure. I always try to maximize that.

    I would just check the head for warpage with a straight edge and feeler gauges, or even just a flashlight, and put it back together..

    Victor Reinz HG in my 931 has stood up to a solid bar of boost for quite a few thrashings now...
    Maybe they make a poor BMW gasket?..
