215/35/17 with Arc8 17x8 et25 fitment?

My friend has a stock ride height e30 and wants to upgrade wheel/tire setup.
Will a 215/45/17 tire fit without modification with Apex arc8s 17x8 et25. I see that Apex recommends
a 40 series sidewall, but he needs an all season tire, probably Dws 06 Continentals.

Sorry, I posted this from my phone while at work. My friend is looking for a good all season wheel and tire setup for his 325iC since he is currently limited by the factory 14” wheels for which there are no good tires to be had... Is anyone out there running 17s with a 45 sidewall?

If you want to maintain the original rolling diameter of about 24" using Continental DWS 06 on a 17x8 wheel, your choices are

205/45/17 will be about a 1/4" taller but still won't change the speedo readings too much
215/45/17 are over a 1/2" taller and will be further off

In both cases they will increase your actual speed compared to your indicated speed. I'd recommend the 205/45/17 for the best fit and compatibility.

are they stuck on 17's? 15x7 et25 works great and there are a bunch of tire options.
