Well, I used to know this info years ago but originally it was Bosch F9LCR which even in 2011 was impossible to find. F9LCR2 was the replacement around 1998 and I don't know technically what the difference is I know there is one and I used to have an article that explained it. If I remember right I've got Bosch F9LCR2's in mine and have never had a problem.
Not sure if it's the same as the M70, but the right plug is now the NGK BKR6EK. The NGK are 1k ohm resistance while the bosch changed and the resistance is higher. If you search the forum you will find a bunch of discussions on the matter. (you will run ok on the Bosch, but I found the NGK ran smoother).
My Cars - 1991 BMW 850i - mine for fun, 1993 Saab 900c - mine for fun, 2008 Lexus is250 - my daily driver, 2003 Dodge Durango - my wife's, 1994 Acura Legend - gave it to kid
IMHO, Bosch Copper is king and the original plug for the M70/M73.
I have been using the Bosch plug # F8LDCR (dual ground electrode) plug in my M73 for 10+ years and 35k miles and they perform flawlessly.
The OE spec plug is one increment higher heat range plug # F9LCR.
The only difference between the OE M73, M70 & S70 plug # F9LCR, F8LCR or F7LCR and the Bosch plug # F8LDCR (OE M62) is the dual ground electrode configuration (“D” designation).
All the other plug designation to include the suppression resistance value (R1 – 1.5k ohm) are identical.

CD05001 had a dozen of these in it and it ran great.
Just scored 10 F9LCR2 on ebay for $25.

Here's a bulletin but it doesn't include the M73.
