    Looking for M54B30 ignition map

My daily driver, E36 325i(1993), starts to have some hydraulic lifter noise. I had a plan on switching out the cam assemblies to M54B30, and I have all the hardware (and eprom flashing). I'm currently looking for an ignition map, would any expert please send me a screenshot of it? Aside from that, I heard that the S50B30US ignition map will work as well. Is that true? Thank you!

Ignition map is calibrated to the bore/stroke of the engine, engine materials, compression ratio, fuel calibration, intake tract model, variable valve timing, and even exhaust emissions requirements. The M54B30 even has variable intake manifold characteristics.

You just want to copy paste the 3 liter ignition maps to a 2.5 liter engine? None of those engines match the other.

Personally I'm just thinking about just an ignition map. I am aware about the 0.5 liter difference along with other characteristics, but I will be adjusting it little by little throughout a period of time. Aside from that, will you suggest that I use the stock tune first?
    Cam details:

    M54B30: in 240 degrees 9.7mm, exh 244 degrees 9.0mm

I'll pull some m54b30 and m54b25 for you when I get a chance. I think the M54b25 data would be more useful for you.
I don't think you should be focused on the cam settings nearly as much, because the crank stroke is much more important for how much ignition advance to use. I've seen ignition requirements change greatly just when going from 12.5 afr to 13.5 afr.

In the end, hours and hours of logging time guided by knock sensors will be the best for fine tuning.
Many tuners (especially the really old school ones) just threw in some ridiculous numbers like adding +8 deg advance, to get it to 30 deg BTDC or more, and hoped for the best from knock sensors. There were some really weird stuff back then.

What units and axes does the older 325i ecu use? I've done a few and they weren't easily compatible with the new stuff... at all.

The 95 M3 was more comparable, but I don't think the ignition settings would work well.

I'm currently using TunerPro with this .xdf file, this axis should show after importing both the .bin and .xdf file
    https://www.tunerpro.net/download/bi..._silverLbl.xdf
Here is a binary file I grabbed from the stock chip.
