This is my OEM+ 1995 325i Convertible that has been maintained to high-standards by me since ownership. This car was originally a 318i that I swapped in a 325i M50B25TU (Vanos) and performed all maintenance and upgrades along the way to make an outstandingly smooth and enjoyable E36 to bring the Ultimate Driving Machine back to its former glory. With the factory heated seats and rear 3.45 differential with LSD, this car is a comfortable carver ready for its next owner. Here is the LONG list of all the items I changed to give you an understanding of the depth and level of care that went into this car:

To be transparent and honest there are a few less desirable attributes to the car as it is 25 years old. Being from the Midwest there is a little rust on the passenger rocker, trunk lid (hidden by plate), and seam of the windshield. I’ve not replaced the A/C and P/S when going to the 6-cylinder, but I have the additional components if desired. The radio works, but the screen doesn’t and the OEM CD-Changer has only worked once for me and never again since. The front comfort seats have a couple tears that black gaff tape has mended very well. The rear plastic was old/brittle so I replaced with new clear vinyl. Also, the transmission has a slight drop of fluid I believe is from the output shaft seal as I’ve replaced the shifter selector seal and the wetness is still present. The 2nd gear synchronizer is worn as well and a slight grind is made, but if you double-clutch it doesn’t grind or with the 3.45 rear-end and healthy inline-6 you can skip to 3rd no worries. In addition to the OEM BBS Style 197s I have the original bottle caps as well that will go with the car.
This has been a really cool car for me to own and it was my first BMW after many VWs (VW, Audi, Porsche), but I believe I’m best fit for another VAG product. This car will be loads of fun for the next owner and has tons of potential with a large peace of mind on many of the common failure points already being addressed with OEM parts. Thanks for your interest and I look forward to the next owner enjoying this Ultimate Driving Machine to its fullest extent!
