Desperately need help using Scanner 1.4

Ive only been able to get Scanner 1.4 to work. But not INPA, Tool32 or NSC Expert. (I habe both cables) Ive used scanner 1.4 for a good week now, going back and forth checking and clearing modules. One of the biggest issue modules is the air bag module. I just so happen to have had a spare module, in the car when i purchased the car.... Matching part numbers and versions. The other day, i tried swapping modules and then the software did not recognize the car (did not access car info and could not read anything else). When i tried scanning, modules were "<found>", but there was no data. So I put the old module back in and it's still the same. What did i miss? What do i need to do? Is it too late and the car is done?

I habe scoured yhe forums, for weeks/months, before i had ever even used it. And this current issue, I cant seem to find anything related, in the forums.

HI,

INPA, ncs and rest will be work normally, just check configuration in ediabas.ini and odb.ini in C:/EDIABAS/BIN
Also check ports settings and latency in hardware manager.

When you put new/spare/used module to car you must always change vin number, then will be recognized by CAS.
Check settings, change vin using WinKFP and code default to car.
