are there many tuners out there that tune this type of setup? wasn't sure if you ran these or not

If you plan to not use an airbox with MAF sensor in conjunction with the stock DME, which would be Alpha-N control strategy, then your tuning options may be limited. You will have to reach out to 22RPD, or RKTunes, or another tuner to see what they can do as far as Alpha N with the stock DME.
From my experience, the TPS table in the stock DME is really small in resolution, but maybe it can be rescaled.
I did run them with an OBD1 Bosch 3.3.1 413 DME, but I used a MAF.
If your going standalone ECU, then any competent tuner who knows Alpha-N can help you.
