    3rd brake light blinker

I do a lot of group drives. I know a person that has designed a 3rd brake light blinker for his car. It blinks fast at first then slows down to a solid light. My question is there any reason we can't do this for the Z4? We don't have the light check do we?

    This is a video of what I'm referring to: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/SRw97FJszlU?start=217" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>
If it doesn't start at where he is testing the light you can jump up to 3:37 and see it.

UK Construction and Use regulations don't allow flashing lights other than direction indicators, flashing brake lights have to emit a steady light.

I would think it would be an MOT fail with a flashing brake light.

That's interesting. I would consider the 3rd brake lamp a special warning lamp. So under part c it might be exempt
