What to look for

Hey all, new here. I am looking into buying a 1985 635 csi with 126k miles. It looks to be in good condition and the owner says it is in very good condition. I am completely new to BMW, I will be going this weekend to see it in person and would like to ask yall for some advice. What things should I look for. Any issues that I just look for in particular? Any feedback would be appreciated! TIA

Not much to go off considering the photos suck, but I can tell you the seats are the "sport seats" which are preferred.
Price sounds good, but id get it looked at or at least take it for a vigorous test drive.
They're awsome cars but with any 35 year old car you have to be ready for random failure ov various things. Finding a local shop that knows vintage BMWs will be really useful during ownership.

Not sure I’d buy a car with such rubbish photos. Paint looks gone.

Better look hard for rust in person on that car. That would be a no go for me.
