Pin 62 signal, upshift, can it be used as rpm shift light?

    Hello,
i noticed in the pinout for the s50b32 there's pin 62 a signal, upshift, does this give a voltage even on manual transmission cars and can be used as shift indicator?
    Anybody know at what rpm?

It should be an MSS50.1 ECU then, which is the SMG ECU.
