Gotta ? about camber plates for my 2.3 non M roady, with all new suspension parts, along with Powerlex control bushings, new H&R drop springs, and newly arrived Koni yellow sports, im curious with before the Koni's get installed, should I look into camber plates?
Camber plates are designed to add more camber to allow for more aggressive turns. If you don't plan to track or autocross, camber plates won't add much to your drive.

Personally, I would like get an alignment to know what my baseline is after those suspension changes before delving into camber adjustments.
Unless you are fine-tuning your alignment at every track or autocross, I also believe adjustable camber plates are overkill. You can add camber to the front tires quite easily with a few inexpensive shims (washers) on the bolts between the strut and the spindle.
I only ended up getting camber plates for my '99 z3 2.8 because the wheel/tire setup i wanted would've caused a LOT of rub without adding negative camber. i have H&R sports on Koni yellows and am running 18x9 et30 fronts (no spacers) with 235/40/18 tires. There is still some slight rub on heavy compression, but otherwise it's necessary and looks fantastic. The Camber Plate kit i went with was the KMC Stage 1 and set to -3* with plenty of caster (about as much as M top hats). Camber plates were expensive, but i didn't want to deal with the washers/shims and the M top hats won't fit with the rest of the stock components (i forget why, but i think it's the LCAs). I actually do want to do some auto-xing and maybe some HPDEs, but more work need to be done to prep the car for that. Mainly the rear diff mount reinforcement stuff, but a few little things to button her up.

Thanks guys for the great advice, I definitely can think of other ways to spend 300 bucks, but in any event, got no plans to track my roady.
