I think my wife and I are going to sharkfest this year, are there any good online resources on how to prepare a car for judging for clean or super-clean? Details on what is looked at for judging, what to clean, tips, tricks etc. etc? I've never done one of these before so could use some help. Thanks
Here's the link, go to Judging for details.

In all seriousness just clean everything.
I did my first judged event last summer in the super clean class. A lot of it depends on the different judges personality and what they're looking for. But a good overall detailing is what you need to do.
Just go out there and have fun with it it's a great time to spend with your car and with other enthusiasts.
If you're doing super clean you'll be asked to take out the trunk liner, tire and jack etv and lay it on the ground behind the car bring a sheet or picnic blanket to put it on makes it looks nice.

A few more things you may want to address from this list compiled by one of our long-time attendees. WOgden nailed it though. Come and have a good time. It very soon will become mostly about the people.

Excellent, thank you! This is EXACTLY what I was looking for, the DETAILS! I will have to take inventory and see where I stand. Already registered and booked our hotel, looking forward to it! I'll be in an '85 Bronzit, looking forward to sharing it with the community as it only has ~30K miles on it and is an amazing unmolested time capsule!
I'd like to attend a future meeting when my car is finished, would love to drive from New York City (I'd ship my car there) to Chattanooga. Maybe for my 50th birthday...
