    Vibration/Rattle at Idle and When Engaging the Clutch

    I'm new to the forum, but have been getting useful info for some time. I have a 98 528 with a low harmonic vibration/rattle/buzz when letting the clutch out and sometimes at low RPM idle. I've looked at the exhaust shields and anything else I can get my hands on. Kind of sounds like its coming from the firewall area. Has be doing it for 10 years without getting worse. Any of you experienced something similar? Love the car. Only slightly annoyed. Thanks...
