Looks cool but wondering if that's an effective test. In this test, were there enough oil pressure for proper flow with the top open like that and if in the case of low oil pressure, any issues with risk of friction wear to the pistons/cylinders?

Valve covers do not influence the oil pressure to the oil spray bar - they are there to keep the oil from splashing out over everything, and to keep debris from entering (also keeps you from getting your fingers caught in the machinery).

Sprayed KN filter oil into all intake valves to add extra lubricant. Also poured oil over cams to lube rollers and valve stems.

Also only run for a few seconds. Similar to a start sequence with starter motor.
