I have stock 04 M3 springs. What would prevent them from being used on a 330 sedan?
Potentially, different diameter spring windings.
That is the case on the E36 and E36M3...the lower end diameters are significantly different.....even 1995M3 and 1996+M3 had different upper winding diameters.

If just the upper spring diameters, then the M3 strut tops will resolve that. I have the strut assemblies as well as the rear springs and shocks out of my 04 M3 laying on a shelf. All are Koni yellow single adjustables. I would love to have firmer springs on my S54 swapped Sport Touring. The car is low enough as it is, has 18x8" wheels and 245/40x18 tires, and much lower could cause clearance issues. It just seems that any OEM replacements lower the stance of the car.
I may have to get the car on my QuickJack and do some measuring.
