I haven't been able to find a harness that attaches to my factory radio and then to my factory harness. Basically I need a piggyback harness.
My intention is to install a mini-amp but without actually tapping into the factory wiring.
Anyone ever heard of this? I was able to get one for my Volvo fairly easily, but for the BMW I've only seen these for the Android interface.
I think it was called an "add an amp" harness".
The closest I could find is something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Amplifier-Ada.../dp/B07QLJTT8V
We need the year, model and factory audio info.

Look up Technic harness: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showp...72&postcount=2
I did that, but it's NLA.
Modern BMW audio systems tend to be “closed” sys to end in that it can be difficult to mod the system without custom made cables, etc. What you can do is tap into the rear speakers’ wires and use those speaker level signals as the inputs for the new amp. The new amp should have it’s positive (+) input tied to the battery with a fused cable. The ground cable needs to be tied to the chassis/body with the shortest cable (of the same gauge as the positive cable) possible. The “remote turn onl signal can come from the factory amp’s harness.
