    Swap coolant reservoir

I am finishing an M50 swap onto an 85 E30 325e. (NOT my idea!!) What coolant reservoir should I use?

I always used the e36 318/m42 radiator with the built in reservoir. Just have to get the new lower mount brackets that clip in the rad support.

I have been told a later model E30 325i reservoir and E36 radiator. Trying to confirm that.

That works too, just not as clean as the all in 1 m42 rad.

Understood. But, already have an E36 radiator. It's a Frankenstein. 85 325e that had a 5.3 LS / 6 speed. The guy brought the roller (former track day car), and an M50/g260 to go in it. It is a rust free POS. I really tried to get him to part it out, but NO. First step was a leak down test and FAIL. And things went sideways from there.
