***SOLD***
3 time National Championship winning DSP car. Unbelievably fun and rewarding to drive 1993 BMW 325is. Would make a fantastic start to a Street Modified build, Track/Time trial with some safety upgrades, or just drive it in DSP and laugh so hard your stomach hurts every time you cross the finish line.
I purchased this car in the spring of 2018 and drove it in several events during that season. It has sat in my garage since October of 2018, but started up every couple months.
There are ALL KINDS of spares for this car and the price listed includes all of it. Springs, axles, swaybars, maintenance parts.
Let’s start off with the bad:
-No title. May not matter to most who’d be interested in this car. Car was last titled in NH, which won’t issue a replacement title. PA won’t issue a new title. Other states may differ.
-During my ownership the car ran flawlessly except for one issue, and kind of a major one. It eats rear tires by way of bottoming out the edge of the tire on the fenders. It has only done this at certain events with high grip surfaces. I’ve inspected it up and down for structural issues and everything is fine. I’ve tried band-aid fixes like raising the rear ride height and adding 75mm bump stops to no avail. You could likely raise the spring rate and get by, or add longer, harder bump stops to limit travel. As a track car you may want to run tires smaller than the 275/35/17's and it would no longer be an issue. The real solution is to properly clearance the rear fenders by cutting above the pinch, then rejoin and stitch the panels back together.
Now the good stuff, verbatim from the sale post I bought it from since I haven’t changed a single thing other than the fluids and data collection:

Unfortunately no test drives will be available, but I’m sure enough of the autocross community have watched and driven this car and can attest that it is glorious!
Car is located in Pittsburgh, PA and I'm asking $7,000 with. I am looking to part ways with my tow vehicle/DD as well (2011 Silverado 1500 LT also for sale) and would consider trades for a new DD. Interested in a good manual trans sedan or wagon. E39 530i/540i, E46 330i, potentially also e90 and e60 cars.
Link to photos. I'll add more interior, engine bay, and underside photos this weekend.

One final bump for this car. Part-out is on the horizon and it would be really unfortunate to have to do it. Willing to drop to $6,500 to see it go to a good home and live to race another day!
If you decide to part, PLEASE sell me the front splitter!
I'd be interested in the Conforti intake setup.
