Does anyone on here run either of these alloys on their E39 saloon (sedan) and / or touring (wagon) or an M5 maybe?
Im considering either wheel and wanted to see what spacers folks are running re the BBS alloys, as well and as what tyre sizes and the same re tyre sizes for the Apex alloys.
Tegiwa Euro here in the UK do the specific E39 Apex alloys with the correct 74.1 centre bore, so just getting my head around tyres and whether folk run them as a straight set (same tyres all round) or if anyone runs them as staggered etc?
Cheers

Not that I’m aware of but asking in the FB group may get you an answer (and a lot of unwanted opinions). I like the look of them and have certainly seen similar styles.
I have a set of Genuine RS2 (700/701) in 74.1 staggered fit as summer wheels for when the devil love child conversion is complete.
Re: Tegiwa Euro - I may have access to a small discount code if you’re interested? Just got to ask a couple of friends if it’s still active and I can post it here or dm it to you?

I’ve been considering the same (square). Seems most run the same tire size (275/35) but some do run wider rears (285 or 295), the latter mostly available to M5 folks given stock roll and liners.
On the type of wheels, depends on what you’re going for- color combo and classy or race look. I suppose also dependent on how you drive regarding 18s vs 19s.
Cheers pal
I'm not rushing, this will be something I sort once back from being away to the Highlands in Feb and the after the cars been in for the front bumper and bonnet respray early March; about when the winter alloys/tyres come off
Like you, running a touring, I've think 19s fill the arches better, so I'm not dead-set on just these alloys, quite like the look of the Japan Racing JR23s too (LM style basically) but in Hyper Black; BMAutosport can't source the relevant E39 ones anymore, apparently I bought the last set for my previous Sapphire Black E39 back in 2017!

Thanks, was considering the 275/35 all round if I went for the Apex alloys; just unsure re the 19" tyre sizes, probably 245/35s all round on those, as they're 8.5" wide alloys. Could be wrong though!
Re which to run, I've run both 18s and 19s on previous E39s with no issues. The major roads around me are fine, but the country lanes are poor at best. However, I'm very good at zig-zagging around potholes etc!

I hear you, makes sense. I've had 19s and hairline cracked a wheel so opted to go for style 65s and prefer how the car drives on 18s. I would like to get 275 on the rears, however, but currently running on 265. I'm hopeful to also source another set of rears to run 18x9.5 square.
15mm spacers all round, because I felt the fronts just didn’t fill the arches well enough.
I wanted a square-ish tyre that had the tiniest touches of stretch without being JDM style and I’ve found them to be the perfect size. Barely a hint of stretch with a decent 35 or 40 (as the car isn’t currently with me It’s hard to remember) profile and they drive like a dream.
I also have a stud conversion with 6 pot front breaks (definitely needed the spacers for that) and 4 pots to go on the rears at some point)

These are better pics
275 35 18 square
Yup - got the tire size. Lowered? If so, do you rub?
Are you running 18x9.5?
No rubbing , despite my fat arse 6'3 275
stock height , but I have some h and r springs I will install soon but from what I've read I don't anticipate they will lower it very much as I have sport suspension stock
i can tell you this though that much rubber at each corner does improve things!
Yes they are 18x9.5 et22
