Low Power, erratic idle 318iS 97

    Hi

So recently just finished doing the cooling system overhaul and now my car has a fault. It has low power when you accelerate not letting you pass 2000rpm and if you step on the gas it revvs really high and feels slughish and without power.

I replaced the PCV valve for an non authentic one, I replaced the power steering pump, also was replaced all coolant hoses and both coolant connectors, replaced HVAC valve, Emission hoses from the squid, Oil cap, thermostat, water pump, cabin air filter, Engine crankcase hose and the other one. Did a radiator flush, also replaced the 3 gaskets for the intake manifold.

What could be causing this issue? The car feels like crap like this, I tried recording a video, maybe you can take a little time and watch it.

    Thank you in advance!

Its probably a large vacuum leak.

I've checked everywhere, I even tried the smoke DIY from the intake and didn't see no leaks. Could a bad PCV cause this?

Did you put new grommets on all the bolts for the VCG.

This problem is only after working onit? If so then you need to recheck all the parts that had to do with engine vacuum.

Did you put a filter that has oil on it? if so you need to clean the MAFS and get rid of the oiled filter.

This is the filter I put on:

I tried smoke testing it today with a latex glove and a hose. It leaked somewhat through the ICV.

Ok so ran into some more trouble. While trying to get the two bolts holding the ICV it was so tight that it stripped the torx head and I grabbed a pair of plyers to try to grab the bolt and broke the plastic part holding where it screws.

Now I need a new ICV, while looking at prices I see some at $25 unbranded, used authentic $80, new authentic (from Latvia) $125.

Which one is the better option?

Hi. Problem solved, apparently the sparkplugs cables were wet. Dryed them up and everything's fine. Power's back and idle while still rough is driveable while I receive the replacement ICV
