I have had a 2020 M240i now for several months. The problem is that I have wide feet. I occasionally catch the edge of the brake pedal with the side of my foot when attempting to step on the gas pedal. Is there any way to move the brake pedal over a bit to the left? And, no, I can't wear narrower shoes.

That’s a feature and not a flaw. Well, only if the car has a manual transmission. This helps making heal/toe downshifts.
I bet the car has an automatic transmission. Why do I think this? 95% of BMW’s sold in the US have an automatic transmission. The brake pedal assembly is different than that in a F22 with the manual transmission.

Back to your problem. I’m wondering if the “arm” to which the brake pedal is attached could be bent to allow for more room between the pedals. Unfortunately, as you can see in the link BMW sells the whole brake pedal assembly and not just the brake pedal “arm.”
